I was commissioned to design a pattern for Sjöö Sandström's Royal Steel Annual Edition 2021. A limited collection of 86 watches only. The collection pays tribute to the world's strongest girl, Pippi Långstrump. The pattern is of course inspired by Pippi's iconic braids, where the different thicknesses of the lines and waves create a tactile pattern and visual depth. The pattern is engraved on the dial of the watch and embossed on printed matters.
On the back of the case is an engraved Pippi illustration by the original Pippi Långstrump illustrator Ingrid Vang Nyman.
